Our Editorial Standards

Last reviewed: October 4, 2026

A useful lesson, not a sales funnel.

Each learning guide has a practical aim, a sequence to try, and a way to assess the result. Advice is written for everyday practice, not as a controlled materials test. Drying time, paper, pigments, and experience affect outcomes.

Sources and limits.

We attribute external technique references where used. A manufacturer reference describes its own materials and is not an endorsement or universal rule. Illustrations and simplified diagrams support an explanation; compare them with the real object and your own tools.

Images and AI-assisted tools.

Editorial imagery is illustrative and may be AI-generated or AI-assisted. It must not be mistaken for photographs of documented exercises, events, or product contents. Workbook galleries show original source pages, not generated mockups. AI assistance does not remove our responsibility to check the content.

Products and commercial relationships.

LUREXEN sells its own workbooks through Etsy. A recommendation is optional, is identified as a LUREXEN product, and belongs only where it supports the lesson. Prices and purchase terms are shown by Etsy. We do not claim that buying a workbook guarantees progress.

News requires verification.

The news desk is not connected yet. Before publication, a story must have an identifiable original publisher, a working source link and date, relevance to art learners, an original short summary, and permission for any image. Automatic collection will create drafts for review, not publish unchecked reports.

Corrections.

If you spot an error, contact LUREXEN with the page and the issue. We will review substantiated corrections and update the affected page.
